Our goal is to allow you to reach beyond your organic conversation and to get out into new places. We aim to find equitable ways to reach beyond the inner circle.  We raise the profile of what you’re doing with others and what others are doing with you.  We would love to learn and share with you!  

This can look different (e.g., sharing your experience in a guest School of Thought Blog post, sharing news and events that others can join in our Newsletter, joining us for a guest interview or for our School of Thought LiveSpots).

Build authentically connected spaces

We redefine the word “network.”  We believe in experiences that are less schmoozy and more authentic. We are not about joining with a bunch of people promoting themselves. We believe change happens when we can become engaged advocates of one another’s real work-  finding real ways making things happen.. 

Actively engage in our online EdSpace Live or Slack group (e.g., by sharing opportunities, questions, resources,advice).  Join our School of Thought Coffee Chats.   Interested in finding your community?  We can be a matchmaker-  to reflect and connect to bring you into conversations with those who are doing aligned work.

Commit to taking action on learning

For change to happen, we need to be fueled by evidence.  But research is so often not interpretable, not accessible and not leveraged. Too often, authors of research do not have the end user in mind.  We are about solutionary research- coming together to talk, write, share, discover.   We find new ways to capture impact and describe stories of change.  We work on engaging directly with common challenges.  We believe in innovating, creating and solving problems with and by learning from others.    

Through the School of Thought Blog, we author, co-author and invite authors with big, evidence-based ideas to join us in conversation, dialogue and calls to action.   Our Make Big Ideas Usable events highlight research happening and put you directly in touch wih the researchers.  Join us for a Book Club with authors  to dialogue or to listen. Our events and publications feature local innovators and leaders who want to engage with YOU to share and learn.
